Dasvandh Network · Brand guide
Our brand gives shape to a shared practice of giving. Here are the foundations for using it with care: the mark, the colors, the type, and the DVN Aurora.
Start with the foundations ↓01 / Logos
Many streams of giving meet at the node and resolve into a clear edge. Keep that relationship intact. Every lockup is supplied artwork, ready to use.
Choose a preview ground
Our default for first contact, websites, communications, and partner materials.
120 px minimum width
For familiar audiences and places where space is tight. Use the supplied artwork.
72 px minimum width
For avatars and places where the Dasvandh Network name is already clear.
24 px minimum height
Leave at least X around the outermost artwork. X is the short bar where the paths meet: one quarter of the symbol’s height. Keep type, edges, and the Aurora outside that space.

Give once, or give monthly.
When a page or display heading follows the identity, leave at least one heading line-height of empty space above it. The logo’s clear-space rule stays simple.
Use the designed monochrome master for embroidery, engraving, foil, or one-ink printing. It has four flat forms and genuine transparent gaps. The full-color mark is the identity on screen. Proof small artwork in the actual material.
Never stretch, rotate, recolor, redraw, or typeset the logo. Keep it near the Aurora, never on the band. On a photograph, give it a quiet, opaque field.
Choose one identity for the entire asset. When the Network logo is present, set DasvandhWeek as a heading in Onest. The dedicated event lockup belongs only on event material that carries no Network logo.

Deep Blue is home. Light grounds make room for reading. Choose one accent for a composition, and let the symbol and Aurora hold the rest of the spectrum.

Use Deep Blue and Basant Yellow for expressive surfaces. On product screens and reading surfaces, use White or Soft Gray, Ink for copy, and Royal Blue for the primary action. Natural White is retired.
Most campaigns should use Deep Blue or Royal Blue. Yellow follows, then Purple, then Sky. These five grounds are for seasonal landings and featured sections, with one ground per campaign. They do not replace the identity’s Deep Blue.

Normal text needs 4.5:1 contrast; large text and meaningful controls need 3:1. Use Deep Blue text on Yellow and Sky. White on Purple is for large text only; White on Yellow or Sky never carries information.
03 / Typography
Use Onest Medium for display, headings, navigation, and buttons. Use Inter Regular for reading and Inter Medium for amounts. The logo’s wordmark remains drawn artwork.

Use sentence case, deliberate line breaks, and left-aligned paragraphs. Give headings more space above than below, so they belong to what follows. When space runs out, simplify the hierarchy before shrinking the type.
Be direct, specific, and welcoming. Say one thing per headline. Name the work and the people doing it; qualify claims and figures. “Where Sikhs rise together.” is our primary brand line. “Rise together” is a campaign expression.
04 / DVN Aurora
The Aurora carries the same idea as the mark at the scale of a landscape: three soft streams gathered around one sharper blue ribbon. Choose a crop and export the moment you need.
Keep one Aurora per composition, horizontal and low, with generous Deep Blue around it. Crop, scale, and position the supplied ribbons; keep their proportions, colors, and blur. Place the logo in the quiet area above the band.
Keep copy, forms, amounts, and legal text on solid surfaces. In the interface, the Aurora is a thin functional thread for focus, selection, or progress. It is never a decorative button, chip, or reading surface.
A headline or one opaque control may sit on a dimmed band in a deliberate hero treatment. The Confluence is the separately governed story diagram; see the full book before using it. Motion is optional, restrained, and responsive to reduced-motion preferences.
