First Gen Empower (FGE) helps first-generation and undocumented students fulfill their ambitions regardless of their socioeconomic background, immigration status, or lack of access to resources. Our mission is to ensure every student, school, and community has access to an ecosystem of support to be self-sufficient in obtaining their educational dreams.

Our Work
1. For institutions: We strengthen the institutional capacity of high schools and colleges in supporting first-generation, low-income, and undocumented students by
- partnering with high schools and colleges to deliver trainings
- providing personalized services to Career Centers, Undocumented Student Services Centers, and other student-facing departments
2. For Students: We work directly with first-generation, low-income, and undocumented high school and college students to increase their college and career attainment.
- The Empowered Scholars Program addresses counselor capacity at high schools directly and sustainably. We train high school students to become Peer Advisors, who guide and support their peers through the college admissions process.
- We host workshops for students to prepare them for college and to succeed in the workforce.
- We are awarding scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors.
