Dear Pagri Supporters,
Excellent management is being provided by Jaspal Singh of Faridkot district
Pagri has made big progress in three areas:
1. Organic Kitchen gardens.
2. Desi Chicks provided to well organized farmers.
3. A program called "Anmol Heeray" which features weekly exceptional Women Farmers.
Lessons were learned from earlier Poultry Project are being used now in round 2 to improve how we do it. Farmers earn more through sale of Desi chicken eggs! Animeshwar Kaurji is active in organizing weekly zoom call “Anmol Heeray” that features good women farmers. This an excellent weekly series of zoom calls that feature women farmers.
Organic Kitchen gardens are being successfully promoted among many farmers, including women farmers. This provides them with clean organic food and reduces their expenses in purchasing food on the open market.
