ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂਜੀਕਾਖਾਲਸਾ। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂਜੀਕੀਫਤਿਹ।
Khalsa Ji
9th October, 2020 was the 300th birthday of Bhai Taru Singh ji. The Vismaad family, all the donors & volunteers included, are a blessed lot for the sewa of making the legendary movie on life & sacrifice of the great martyr who is iconic if one is looking for inspiration to live Sikhi in letter & spirit.
First released in the 2010, the movie was rereleased in 2018 with enhanced animation & cinematic experience, including glimpses of worldclass 3D CGI Animation. We had great expectations from the theatrical release across 150 Cinemas in US, Canada, UK, Australia & India. The Movie production & Distribution had costed $355,000 but unfortunately had a very poor run on Box Office and yielded only $35,000 in revenue.
To commemorate 300th Birthdate of Bhai Taru Singh ji a YouTube Premiere was organized on 9th October which was a decent success, having crossed 65000 views as you read this update. https://youtu.be/cDrgvEudoKQ
Even after having watched the movie multiple times during all the years since 2010, the year 2D version was released, people are watching it again on YouTube and feeling the same vibes and inspirations. That's power of Bhai Sahib's jiwan that you don't get tired listening or watching his story over and over again.
Please watch the movie wth your family and share with all in your freinds and family.
Thanks again for your continued support and putting faith on us. Please keep us in your prayers so that the sewa can continue.
