Prabh Aasra Extends Relief Support to Flood-Affected Communities in Nepal

The devastating floods in Nepal have caused widespread destruction, severely affecting roads, bridges, homes, and essential infrastructure. With 21 bridges destroyed and several roads severely damaged, many communities have been cut off from essential supplies and assistance. In some affected areas, a journey of just 40 kilometres can now take nearly 11 hours due to damaged and inaccessible routes.
In response to this humanitarian crisis, Prabh Aasra has extended its relief efforts to Nepal, by sending three teams to support people affected by the floods and reach communities facing difficult conditions.
Our teams are working on the ground to understand the immediate needs of affected families and reach those most in need. Due to border restrictions, we are unable to send relief materials directly to these areas. Therefore, relief supplies must be purchased locally.
We humbly request your generous support so we can purchase and distribute relief materials directly to affected families.
Supporting Communities in Difficult Conditions
The destruction of roads and bridges has not only disrupted transportation but has also made it difficult for essential relief materials and support to reach affected families. Restoring access to isolated areas can significantly reduce the hardship faced by communities and help ensure that assistance reaches those in need more quickly.
Prabh Aasra remains committed to serving humanity beyond boundaries and extending help wherever it is needed most.
