In the villages of North India, many bright children from families with very limited means are at risk of leaving school early. Not because they lack ability, but because their families cannot afford the cost of a good education.
Educate To Save, an initiative of The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, gives these children a chance to stay in school and build a better future. Through its network of 130 Akal Academies across 5 states, the Trust provides value-based, quality education to children in rural and underserved areas. Today, 33,906 students study on free or aided fees, and 9000+ are available for sponsorship on our portal.
This DasvandhWeek, your contribution can change the course of a child's life:
- USD 50 per month sponsors the education of an underserved rural child
- USD 600 per year covers a child's education for a full year
- USD 5,000 provides a lifetime sponsorship for a child's education
