GAAVANI Turns 5 !

GAAVANI turns 5 in 2027! And we are raising $75,000 for all of our Year 5 initiatives: professional quality Kirtan releases across digital platforms, 20 film screenings across India and USA, Kirtan Education for New Families, Social Media Stories to Inspire and Landmark Darbars in Amritsar, New Jersey and Vancouver. Your gift during DV Week helps put more women on the Kirtan stage and brings their voices to new Sangat worldwide.

In just four years, GAAVANI has grown from a single event into a global movement for women in Kirtan:

50+ events across 3 continents. Kirtan Darbars, Workshops, Film screenings that put women's voices at the center.
A platform that reached India. Led by women here in North America, GAAVANI took its platform to the place where women's voices most needed to be lifted up, giving female Kirtaniyas in India a stage and sisterhood of their own.
A First in Sikh History. We produced the first-ever feature film on Sikh women's leadership. If you haven't seen it yet, make sure you get out to a screening coming to your area.
Global Growth. What began locally in Fremont, CA is now an international community of female leaders in Kirtan, Youth who are energized by spiritual equality, and families who are inspired by the GAAVANI journey.

Please help make Year 5 our most exciting Year Yet !!
