Background
Our Academies are covering 6450 far-flung villages of 5 states in 33 districts, providing world-class scientific knowledge blended with spiritual knowledge to 70,000 students of these backward regions, impacting 19,50,000 rural citizens in the process.
One of our alumni, Simrandeep Singh of Akal Academy Kauriwara from Mansa district has secured 34th rank in UPSC 2020 exams conducted for top posts in Civil services across the country. He is just one among the thousands of our achievers.
Had our Academy more classrooms, Simrandeep Singh would have finished his senior classes too in Kauriwara Academy itself.
The problem: In the deep rural areas, there is a scarcity of such educational institutions which are run with the sole aim of holistic development of the child.
Researches confirm that a school is a place where the child gets the first lessons of his life, which leave a lifelong impact on the tender mind. The lessons learnt in the initial phase mould a man’s character.
This really is a sad situation that deep rural areas do not have fully constructed schools due to the less paying capacity of the parents; though there are thousands of rural children who have the caliber to shine like a star in the academic arena.
How are we tackling it?
The solution: With the aim of providing rural children with value-based world-class education, our founders have constructed 129 academies located in deep rural regions, and we have hundreds of rural students who are exemplary in academic performance.
As the strength of students grows and students of junior classes move to higher classes, we need to construct new classes for our students so that we can get more and more IAS officers like Simrandeep Singh from the rural belt.
Building classrooms will help junior students to continue their education in their known environment and with their beloved teachers.
We appeal to all benevolent people to join us in our project of building classrooms in our academies and help rural children come abreast in the high positions of our country.
