In every generation, the Panth faces one defining test. Today, it is modern parenting. How do we raise children who can soar in the world without losing the roots of Sikhi?
Across the diaspora, Sikh families are watching a quiet crisis unfold. Our youth are excelling in many areas yet struggling in spirit, slowly disconnecting from Gurbani, distant from sangat, and unsure of who they are. Parents, caught between financial pressures and modern lifestyles, often feel overwhelmed and alone. The result is burnout, guilt, and fear that the next generation may forget what it means to live as a Sikh.
Roots & Wings is our answer to that pain.
This flagship initiative by Sikh Learning Center offers a Parenting Learning Pod, a dynamic space where modern neuroscience meets timeless Gurmat. Through live sessions, podcasts, and community circles, we support families to nurture children who are both deeply rooted in Sikhi (roots) and fearlessly sovereign leaders (wings), embodying the Khalsa ideal in homes, classrooms, and careers.

Roots: Teach families to ground their values, discipline, and love in Gurmat principles, anchored in Naam, Simran, Seva.
Wings: Equip parents with evidence-based tools to raise emotionally intelligent, confident, and compassionate Sikh leaders for the modern world.
Sangat Support: Build a safe community where parents learn, heal, and grow together, turning isolation into inspiration.

The Sikh Learning Center is led by certified professionals and dedicated community members with years of experience in Gurmat-based education, parenting, and family wellness. Under the guidance of Bhai Jagjit Singh Ji, an international Sikh parenting expert whose mentorship helped launch the Roots & Wings Parenting Pod, already serving 25 families, our team continues to expand its impact. We have a proven track record of designing research-based, high-quality programs and managing complex educational initiatives. Guided by Gurbani, evidence-based pedagogy, and a strong network of sevadars, we remain mission-driven, transparent, and fully prepared to grow this work globally with integrity and accountability.
