Help us host the Sikh Ivy League Conference, spring 2027.
Generations before them built the foundation our young people stand on. Now those students are in lecture halls and career fairs, building futures of their own, and they’re asking a question every generation asks: can I be fully who I am and still succeed?
The answer is in a room we’re building.
Picture a student walking into a room full of people who excelled in their fields and carried their identity with them the whole way. They see that nobody had to choose between who they are and where they’re going. Someone already did both, and they’re standing right there.
That’s the Sikh Ivy League Conference. For one weekend this spring, 200 students from Sikh Student Association chapters across the East Coast come together to learn from each other, and meet Sikh professionals who’ve already walked this path. There will be Sikhi-rooted conversations, career guidance, and opportunities to build community.
Why it matters now
Our youth are building their lives in places where they can easily be the only one. This weekend, no one is. They leave knowing they have a sangat behind them, and mentors and peers they can call years from now.
Where your gift goes
Your dasvandh helps secure a venue, food, speaker costs, operational costs and brings the programming to life.
When you give, you’re telling a young Sikh that this community believes in them, and that they never have to choose between who they are and who they’re becoming.
Help us build the room. Give today.
