Next, we are building Sikhflix for parents and growing
Sikhi University, Nanak Nivas, based in Austrailia, is our first partner organization piloting courses on our own learning platform, and more organizations are planned to join in 2027.
We have self-funded over $25,000 of seva so far. This year we need $3,600 to keep going:
- $1,500 a year for Cloudflare hosting and domain renewals across every site. Every $125 keeps everything online and free for a month.
- $800 for AI translation credits. Our in-house OCR and Translation pipeline, run through OpenRouter, turns Sikh books and manuscripts into English at a cost that has dropped sevenfold. Every $5 translates about 10-20 books. These are labeled as AI translations. The balance covers handwritten manuscripts and other languages, which cost more per page.
- $1,300 for development tools, so we can build, maintain and secure our websites, mobile apps and custom learning platform, including security and privacy work such as FERPA-aligned practices.
Please give your dasvandh.
