Since sharing our initial direction, we’ve been continuing this work more quietly spending time refining and sitting with the ideas before pushing forward too quickly.
The initial gamified ideas have gone through a few iterations internally. In that process, we’ve actually scaled back certain elements to make sure they stay subtle and don’t take attention away from the bani itself. Our focus is on gentle reinforcement.
On the dashboard side, we’ve been exploring how to present things like streaks and progress in a way that feels calm and encouraging, not something that creates pressure.
We’ve also started laying the groundwork for the theme system, experimenting with tones and visuals that feel warm, minimal, and non-distracting during paath.
Alongside this, some parts of the project still require deeper research before we can confidently move into full development.
We want to share with sangat that we are still some distance away from our fundraising goal. Your support will help us move closer to achieving this goal. This project moves forward through the your support, and we’re grateful for every bit of love and encouragement along the way.
Your support doesn’t just help us “complete” features, it gives us the space and motivation to think deeply, and to build something that feels honest and spiritually grounded.
Your support directly enables us to:
This isn’t something that we are building in isolation. The sangat’s perspective is what gives this project its real direction and meaning.
If there’s something you’ve felt missing in your own Nitnem journey, or something you’ve always wished existed, we’d truly value hearing that.
