AI is changing how the world learns. Our children already ask AI their questions. When they ask about Gurbani, the answer should come from a source that treats Gurbani with respect.
That is why we built Khalis AI.
Khalis Foundation builds SikhiToTheMax and Sundar Gutka. SikhiToTheMax puts Gurbani on screen in Gurdwaras around the world, including the live telecast from Sri Darbar Sahib. Sundar Gutka is used by 2.4 million people every year for their daily Nitnem. Khalis AI brings that same seva into the age of AI.
What we are building
Khalis AI is a growing set of tools. We are building and improving each one.
- Khalis AI Chat. Ask questions about Gurbani and Sikhi, and get answers grounded in Gurbani.
- Explore Gurbani. Discover shabads by theme, meaning, or feeling.
- Explain This Shabad. Understand the meaning of any shabad in simple language.
- Autopilot. A voice follow feature for SikhiToTheMax and Sundar Gutka. It listens to the kirtan or paath and moves the screen along on its own, so no one has to sit at the laptop hunting for the next line. Now in testing at Gurdwaras, released carefully with privacy first.
Built on trust
Every Khalis AI tool is built on our own Gurbani translation work, reviewed by scholars. The AI starts from a trusted source, not from whatever it finds on the internet.
Why your support matters
Every question asked, every shabad explained, and every kirtan followed by Autopilot has a real cost. To keep Khalis AI free and open to every Sikh, we need your help with:
- AI usage costs. Every answer the AI gives uses tokens, and those costs grow as more of the sangat uses it.
- Infrastructure. Servers that keep Khalis AI fast and reliable, from a phone at home to a screen at the Gurdwara.
- Making the features better. More scholar review, better accuracy, and bringing Autopilot to more Gurdwaras.
Help us make sure that when the next generation asks AI about Gurbani, the answer respects Gurbani.
