This book explores the artwork behind the short animated film American Sikh, tracing the creative journey from early concepts to final, screen-ready visuals. The project originated with filmmaker Ryan Westra, inspired by his earlier collaboration through the Sikhlens Project S. After creating the acclaimed documentary Red, White & Beard, Ryan revisited the story in 2018 to expand it into a broader life narrative. What began as a live-action concept ultimately evolved into an ambitious animated film, marking a new creative direction for both collaborators.
