August 1st is coming fast, and thanks to your support, we are showing up bigger than ever.
Planning a free, full-day cultural festival takes months of seva behind the scenes, and your donations are what make it possible to bring artists, book venues, and keep everything free for the community. We do not take that lightly.
This year's theme, Sounds of Punjab, is reflected in every part of the program. We have confirmed a live Punjabi instruments demonstration and workshop through the Gurmat Sangeet Initiative, a live band performance by Mehfil Aale, Baaghi Bhangra, two traditional Giddha performances, a Dhol group, a live piano set by Arjun Syan, and the return of AmaSingh Magician, who was a huge hit in previous years. Turban tying, free langar, and cultural exhibitions will anchor the day as always.
After welcoming 1500+ attendees and serving 1,300+ plates of langar in 2025, we are pushing to grow that even further this year. Our marketing and outreach are actively underway across social media and the community, and the energy around this event is building.
None of this happens without your generosity. If you have not already, please consider sharing the event with your family and friends. The more people who know, the more Punjab we get to celebrate together.
See you August 1st at the Seattle Center!
