At Govt Primary School Ganduan Kalan, Nogawan, Fatehgarh Sahib, three students had completely stopped showing interest in classroom. Each for a different reason. Most people stop noticing. Kiranpreet didn't.
Kiranpreet Kaur, a Young Leader with Sanjhi Sikhiya's Punjab Youth Leaders Program, paid attention to what was actually going on with each child and responded differently to each one.
One student was restless and had stopped trying. She sat with him one-on-one before his assessment. Didn't lecture him, just talked. At his next test, a friend offered him a cheat sheet. He refused it.

One student always looked to others for answers, never trusting herself. Kiranpreet gave her a problem to solve alone. She solved it independently for the first time.

One student was a full year behind. Kiranpreet didn't follow the class pace. She mapped his gaps and started from there. He didn't just catch up, he understood.

Within three months, the rest of the class was creating their own problems and evaluating their own work without being asked.

There are hundreds of classrooms across Punjab waiting for someone like Kiranpreet. Choose to donate monthly and help her transform the lives of many kids like Jobanpreet.
