Prabh Aasra’s boys’ and girls’ teams represented Punjab at the National Handball Championship in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, proudly winning Silver medals in both categories.
From 23rd to 27 September, powerlifters Arshdeep Kaur (Gold), Jyoti Billo, and two other talented athletes (Silver) brought immense pride and recognition to Prabh Aasra with their remarkable performances at the National Powerlifting Championship held in New Delhi.

Our inhabitant Ramo Devi represented India at the prestigious Special Olympics Unified Volleyball World Cup held in Katowice, Poland (4th–9th Oct 2025).she made Prabh Aasra, Kurali (Mohali) proud as Team India secured 4th position in the tournament.

Prabh Aasra teams, guided by Senior Coach Rajinder Kaur Ji and others, showcased outstanding talent at the National Basketball Championship 2025 in Odisha. The boys’ team won Silver and the girls’ team secured Bronze, reflecting their dedication and teamwork.

Prabh Aasra celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, joined by renowned actress Neeru Bajwa.

Bibi Rajinder Kaur Ji was invited to the Round Table National Conference by the Institute for Inclusive Policy and Governance, where she delivered an excellent presentation on mental health.

Senior Citizens’ Day:
Celebrated with SHO Kurali and his team, who honored the elderly residents and appreciated Prabh Aasra’s efforts.

Celebrity Raj Kundra Ji and Punjabi actor Baninder Bunny visited Prabh Aasra to celebrate Raj Kundra’s birthday, honoring Bibi Rajinder Kaur Ji and the team for their humanitarian service.His touching words, calling Bibi Rajinder Kaur Ji “the best mother of the world,” made the day unforgettable for all.

Prabh Aasra celebrated Diwali with great joy and togetherness. Inhabitants and staff enthusiastically played various games and enjoyed a lively Malwai Giddha performance. The celebration concluded with sweets and smiles, spreading the true spirit of Diwali across the Prabh Aasra family.


A New Ray of Hope – Baby Jasleen’s Rescue
A 8-month-old baby girl, found abandoned and crying in distress near the premises of Prabh Aasra, She was lovingly rescued by Bibi Rajinder Kaur Ji and brought to Prabh Aasra, where she calmed in her arms as if feeling a mother’s love. Diagnosed with cervical lymphadenopathy, she received timely treatment and care.

On 12/08/2025, the baby Jasleen Kaur, was formally handed over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Mohali, ensuring her bright, secure, and protected future under official guardianship.

New Admission Report:
Prabh Aasra warmly welcomed 14 new members, referred through community members and police authorities. Many of these cases required urgent rescue and compassionate intervention. Each individual, including abandoned elders, a distressed woman, mentally challenged citizens, and an infant in medical need, has been provided with dedicated care and rehabilitation. This intake reflects Prabh Aasra’s continued commitment to offering safety, dignity, and hope to those with nowhere else to turn.
