🔥 Grand Lohri Celebration (12 Jan 2026):
Prabh Aasra organized a vibrant Lohri celebration in collaboration with Baba Gaji Dass Ji Club. The event was graced by renowned Punjabi artists and personalities including Gurpreet Ghuggi, Satinder Satti, Mannat Noor, Balbir Sufi, Samiksha, Geeta Zaildar, Gurpartap Padiala, Raj Dhaliwal, Ravinder Mand, Rana Ranbir, Satwinder Bitti, Dolly Singh, Narinder Shergill, Rabbi Ghandola and others. Through music, dance, and traditional Lohri rituals, the celebration spread joy, cultural pride, and togetherness, bringing immense happiness to the inhabitants.


Birthday Celebration of Baba Karamjit Singh Ji (18 Feb 2026):
A heartfelt celebration was organized at Prabh Aasra on the birthday of Baba Karamjit Singh Ji, featuring Langar and refreshments for inhabitants.The occasion was graced by Punjabi singer Baba Gulab Singh Ji, Masha Ali, Darshanjeet along with several respected guests, making the event spiritually uplifting and joyful for everyone.
Special Visit by Inderjit Singh Nikku (20 Feb 2026):
Renowned Punjabi singer Inderjit Singh Nikku visited Prabh Aasra, where he met S. Shamsher Singh Ji and Bibi Rajinder Kaur Ji, toured the wards, and interacted warmly with the inhabitants. His encouraging words and appreciation for the humanitarian work of Prabh Aasra brought great joy, inspiration, and positivity to the entire campus.

New Admission Report:
In the last two months, Prabh Aasra welcomed 13 new inhabitants in urgent need of care and protection. Referred to by police and hospital authorities, the Child Welfare Committees, district administrations and social workers these individuals included vulnerable children, abandoned elders, and persons facing intellectual and physical challenges. Each inhabitant was safely admitted following due procedures and is now receiving shelter, medical care, compassion, and rehabilitation support, reaffirming Prabh Aasra’s mission to restore dignity, safety, and hope to those who need it most.

🏆 Prabh Aasra – Sporting Achievements & Participation (2026)
Prabh Aasra actively promotes sports, inclusion, and confidence among its inhabitants through participation in various state and national level sports activities organized by Special Olympics Bharat and other institutions. Athletes from Prabh Aasra took part in Futsal, Hockey, Football, and Cricket tournaments, trials, and preparatory camps held across Punjab and other states.
National Futsal Championship Selection & Participation:Athletes participated in the Preparatory Camp and National Championship where they achieved notable results:
🥇 Gold Medal – Jagjivan Singh (Sub-Junior Male)
🥈 Silver Medals – Vishnu, Parveen, Chandni (Senior Female Team), Rakhi (Junior Female), Ekamveer Singh (Junior Male)
🏅 5th Position – Harmanpreet Singh & Bakshish Singh Dhindsa (Senior Male Team among 21 teams).

Hockey Activities & National Championship:
Prabh Aasra hosted the Field Hockey and athletics State Selection Trials at Chandigarh University, Gharuan, providing a platform for special athletes to showcase their skills.

Apart from the trials, Prabh Aasra inhabitants also participated in separate hockey events and tournaments held at Anandpur Sahib, Nawanshahr, and Mohali, gaining valuable exposure and experience.
Following the trials, the National Field Hockey Championship was organized for the first time by Special Olympics Bharat at Faridabad, Haryana (22–26 February 2026). With the dedicated efforts and training provided by Coach Bibi Rajinder Kaur Ji, Coach Darshan Singh Ji, and Coach Simran Kaur, Team Punjab clinched the Gold medal, with an overwhelming 90% of its players and coaches from Prabh Aasra, reflecting remarkable dedication and excellence.

19 Jan 2026 – Excellence Award: Co-Founder Bibi Rajinder Kaur received the Excellence Award at CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar, recognizing her dedicated humanitarian service and contribution to social welfare.
15 Feb 2026 – Social Welfare Felicitation: Founder Bhai Shamsher Singh Ji was honoured with a memento by Care One Care All Group Punjab Australia and Mata Jeeto Ji Mother Child Society for his selfless services through Prabh Aasra.
21 Feb 2026 – Distinguished Leadership Honour: Bibi. Rajinder Kaur Dhindsa received the Distinguished Leadership Honour at the National CSR Summit 2026, organized by The Times of India and The Times Foundation, for her impactful leadership and grassroots initiatives.

07 Mar 2026 – Women’s Day Honour (Rayat Bahra University):
Bibi Rajinder Kaur was honoured with an Appreciation Award during the Women’s Day celebration for her outstanding humanitarian work and contribution to community welfare.

At the Sheroes Conclave 2026 organized by Daily Post News, Bibi Rajinder Kaur was honoured with the “Honoring Women Achievers” Award for her remarkable service to society.
