Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
As catastrophic fires swept through Los Angeles on January 7, 2025, UNITED SIKHS stepped forward to mitigate the crisis, touching over 100,000 lives amid the chaos.
Here’s a snapshot of our comprehensive efforts:
➡️ 75,000+ Hot Meals: Our volunteers prepared and distributed thousands of nourishing meals daily across affected areas.
➡️ Essential Supplies Delivered: Thousands received hygiene kits, blankets, baby essentials, and more, directly addressing immediate needs.
➡️ Mega Food Drive: On January 24, our significant event at the Pasadena Community Job Center saw 100 volunteers providing aid to 10,000 people, highlighting the scale and impact of our community’s unity.
➡️ Mental Health Support: Through the UMEED Helpline, we offered emotional support, helping those affected to cope and rebuild.
This massive response was not just a reaction to disaster—it was a movement of solidarity and resilience powered by faith and community. Your generous contributions and unwavering spirit of volunteerism turned potential despair into a story of hope and recovery.
Together, We Rebuild. Together, We Rise. 🙏
