The Victoria bushfires that ignited on 7 January 2026 have left widespread devastation, destroying homes, displacing families, and straining local resources across communities, including Strathbogie, Towong, Mansfield, Murrindindi, and Natimuk.
Thousands of residents have been forced to evacuate.
UNITED SIKHS Australia has launched immediate relief operations. Our volunteers are running community kitchens in Skipton and the Ballarat Pony Club, serving approximately 100 families and firefighters each day with hot meals and essential supplies. At Ballarat, we're also caring for evacuees who arrived with their horses seeking refuge.

Beyond meals, our team is coordinating with local authorities to distribute food, water, hygiene essentials, and emergency supplies to vulnerable households.

"Our commitment is to stand with communities in their darkest hour," said Gurvinder Singh, Director of UNITED SIKHS Australia. "We are determined to provide both immediate relief and long-term support."

In the spirit of seva, we serve all those in need. Your support helps us sustain and expand these operations. Stand with us.
